A bright morning at BPS Tegal Regency welcomed the morning assembly with a very relevant theme, "Transformation of Functional Position Governance." In the activity led by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Mr. Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, SST, M.Si., all BPS employees and internship students from various universities gathered in the technical room of BPS Tegal Regency.
Work Priorities 2019-2024
As an important background, the Head of BPS reminded all participants of the five work priorities that have become the foundation of BPS Tegal Regency in the last five years: human resource development, infrastructure development, simplification of regulations, simplification of bureaucracy, and economic transformation. With the theme of functional position governance transformation, BPS Tegal Regency is committed to strengthening this aspect in all aspects of its activities.
Transformation of Functional Position Governance
Functional position governance includes several main aspects:
1. Duties and Scope of Activities: Attendees were given an in-depth understanding of the duties and responsibilities involved in functional positions.
2. Career Patterns of Functional Positions: The importance of career development in functional positions is emphasized, and how every employee has the opportunity for growth.
3. Functional Position Performance Management: The performance appraisal process, implementation of annual performance plans, as well as the conversion of SKP scores and determination of credit scores are explained in detail.
4. Competencies and Grade of Position: Employees are informed of the required competencies and relevant position classes for functional position governance.
5. Functional Position Development: Opportunities for self-development and coaching in functional positions are emphasized as an integral part of the transformation.
Functional Position Performance Management
Performance management is a key element in the transformation of functional position governance. The performance appraisal process with the predicates of excellent at 150%, good at 100%, needs improvement at 75%, less than 50%, and very less than 25% became a guide in assessing the achievements of each employee.
At the end of the event, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts. The spirit to contribute to positive change in the governance of functional positions was very strong.
With a burning spirit of transformation, this morning briefing provided encouragement for all BPS Tegal Regency employees to move forward in achieving common goals. Transformation of functional position governance is an important step towards the vision and work priorities that have been set.(Wind)
