On Thursday, October 19, 2023, the four internship students from Politeknik Statistika STIS, namely Diska, Atina, Arum, and Reza, submitted the Final Report of the Tegal Regency BPS Internship in the Head Room of the Tegal Regency BPS. The event was attended by the head of BPS Tegal Regency, Mr. Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, SST, M.Si, the intermediate expert statistician Mrs. Diana Dwi Susanti, and all team leaders of BPS Tegal Regency.
This final report is the result of an internship that began on August 21, 2023 and lasted until October 20, 2023 for 44 days. This internship is part of the independent learning program and prepares students to become State Civil Apparatus (ASN). This internship is mandatory for D-IV students and is equivalent to 22 credits.
The purpose of this internship is to provide students with experience and insight into working in the field directly. In addition, the internship also aims to practice the knowledge that students have in the world of work, improve skills both hard skills and soft skills, train students to solve problems both individually and in teams, and develop innovative and creative thinking skills. Internships also play a role in training students to be more disciplined and responsible.
Students who undergo this internship get various benefits, including gaining direct work experience, having practical work experience in accordance with the study program, understanding the real work environment, adding insight into the world of work, and improving skills in carrying out tasks in the field.
With this final report, internship students have successfully demonstrated their commitment in participating in the internship program which aims to prepare them to become qualified ASNs. Their success in pursuing this goal is proof that internships are an important step in preparing the younger generation to contribute to the world of work and government in the future.(Wind)
