Slawi, November 09, 2023 - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency held a social media team meeting on Wednesday, November 09, 2023, at the BPS Tegal Regency office. The meeting aimed to discuss strategies and work plans in improving the quality of statistical data publication in social media.
The meeting was chaired by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, SST, M.Si. and attended by all members of the social media team, namely Imam Furqon Roziqin, Annisa Purbaning Tyas, Nurlaili Ismilarsih, Kartika Sari Sunarno, Helmy, Martin Muktiasih and Winda Dwi Janingrum. Also present were Head of General Subdivision Andi Kurniawan, and Diana Dwi Susanti, Associate Expert Statistician at BPS Tegal Regency.
In his speech, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji said that social media is one of the important tools to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the public about the activities and work of BPS Tegal Regency. Therefore, the social media team must work professionally and creatively in presenting statistical data publications that are interesting and easily understood by the public.
"Social media is a communication bridge between BPS Tegal Regency and the community. We must be able to utilize social media optimally and effectively to provide useful and educative information to the community, as well as improve the image and reputation of BPS Tegal Regency as a credible and professional statistical data provider institution," Bambang said.
The Tegal Regency BPS social media team meeting is one of the efforts of Tegal Regency BPS in improving the quality of statistical data publications in social media, so that it can provide useful and educative information to the public, as well as improve the image and reputation of Tegal Regency BPS as a credible and professional statistical data provider institution.
