Purwokerto, December 7, 2023 - From December 4 to 7, 2023, Grand Karlita Purwokerto Hotel witnessed the implementation of the Dissemination of Agricultural Census 2023 Phase I Results and the Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) of Central Java Province in 2023. This activity was attended by 10 participants from each Regency / City BPS, as well as representatives from the Central Java Provincial BPS.
The hard work of our friends at BPS Tegal Regency paid off when the 2023 Agricultural Census was recognized by BPS Central Java as one of the best. The peak of the event was also enlivened by the "BPS Central Java Awards 2023," which won BPS Tegal Regency in various categories, including :
1st Place for the Implementation of the 2023 Agricultural Census,
1st Place for Population Statistics, 3rd Place for Statistical Dissemination, and 1st Honorable Mention for the Quality and Accuracy of the Regional Balance Survey and Statistical Analysis.In order to improve coordination and collaboration with various parties, BPS Central Java also designed a strategy. This includes collaboration with the Regional Government, Regional Offices, Regional Technical Institutions, Associations, Business Companies/Groups/Individuals, and Universities. This is expected to be a follow-up and implementation of collaboration in an effort to increase the response rate and data quality of BPS Census/Survey activities.
Various agendas, such as the use of regional clothing and the activity of Dissemination of Agricultural Census 2023 Phase I Results, also enriched the atmosphere of the activity. Not only that, building a solid, strong, and compact work team became one of the focuses to achieve more optimal results.
BPS Central Java also emphasized the importance of providing insight related to the utilization of ST2023 data to each Regional Government, Regional Office, and Regional Technical Institution in order to formulate policies in agriculture.
In addition, special attention was given to the strategy of increasing the existence and branding of BPS in social media. By balancing educational, reportage, entertainment, and emotional content, as well as clarifying the Unique Selling Proposition (USP), Call To Action (CTA), as well as content that is "Features" and "Benefit," it is expected that BPS will be increasingly recognized and appreciated by the wider community.
