Construction Briefing: Finalizing the concept of mental thickening

Thursday, March 7, 2024 BPS Tegal Regency held a Briefing for Construction Statistics officers located in the RM Multipurpose Room. Cempe Cendani. The participants of the briefing were field enumeration officers or partner PCLs totaling 8 people and BPS organic PMLs totaling 4 people.

The briefing discussed two surveys at once, namely the Construction Company Updating (UDP) and the 2023 Annual Construction Survey (SKTH) for the 2024 survey year because both surveys were carried out at the same time.

Briefings are conducted to solidify concepts and definitions so that officers do not lose direction when enumerating, carried out according to SOPs and produce accurate data.

Briefings are also held to provide an understanding to officers about situations and conditions that may be faced while in the field as well as approaches to solving problems encountered in the field.

The briefing is also used as a sharing room between experienced officers and new officers.

The hope is that with the briefing, the data produced is data that can be accounted for and can be used as a basis for appropriate policy making by the government. (Meela)
