Socialization of the "Desa Cinta Statistik" (Cantik) Program in Balapulang District

Balapulang, February 19, 2025 – The socialization of the "Desa Cinta Statistik" (Cantik) program took place at the Balapulang District Office. The event was attended by the Acting Head of Balapulang District, Sihabudin, and Senior Statistician Diana Dwi Susanti, as well as other Statistics Officials from the Tegal Regency BPS. The socialization was also attended by village secretaries from across Balapulang District, the Head of the Balapulang Public Health Center, and health workers in the area. In his speech, District Head Sihabudin introduced the 2025 "Desa Cantik" program, explaining the regulations and presidential instructions that underpin the program. He expressed his hope that, through this meeting, all villages will actively participate in the "Desa Cantik" stages and promptly form "Desa Cantik" teams in all villages within Balapulang District to implement the existing program. Senior Statistician Diana Dwi Susanti also provided an explanation regarding "Desa Cantik," using Desa Pagerwangi as a role model. Desa Pagerwangi successfully became one of the top 10 villages in the "Desa Cantik" program in Central Java in 2024. Diana explained the various challenges faced and the successes achieved by Desa Pagerwangi in implementing the program. Adnan Puji Wahyudi also introduced a new application for "Desa Cantik" data collection that can be used through Android devices. This application is expected to simplify the process of collecting and processing statistical data at the village level. This socialization activity serves as an initial step to raise awareness and understanding among the community about the importance of statistical data in village development, as well as to strengthen collaboration between the government and the community in realizing the "Desa Cantik" program in Balapulang District.
