March 10, 2025 | Other Activities

Tegal, March 10, 2024 – BPS Tegal Regency held a morning assembly on Monday, March 10, 2024. The assembly was attended by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponci Aji, Head of the General Sub-Division Andi Kurniawan, Senior Statistician Diana Dwi Susanti, and all BPS Tegal Regency employees. Led by Uziroh, a First Statistician, the assembly included a religious talk on how to make Ramadan more meaningful, offering tips for successful worship: 1. Successful Fasting: * Strong intention: Ensure the intention to fast is not only to refrain from food and drink but also to increase piety. * Blessed Sahur: Eat a nutritious Sahur meal and drink enough water to stay strong throughout the day. * Avoid sin: Guard your speech, sight, and heart from things that can diminish the rewards of fasting. * Stay productive while fasting: Use daytime for beneficial activities such as work, study, and remembrance of God (dzikir). * Simple breaking of the fast (berbuka): Avoid overeating at berbuka to stay fit for nighttime worship. 2. Successful Tarawih Prayers: * Don't miss Tarawih: Make Tarawih a daily routine, whether at the mosque or at home. * Understand the meaning of prayer: Reflect on the prayers to increase devotion. * Maintain health: Avoid overeating at berbuka to avoid drowsiness during Tarawih. * Involve family: Praying Tarawih with family can increase enthusiasm and togetherness. 3. Successful Quran Recitation (Tadarus): * Set daily targets: For example, at least one juz per day to complete the Quran in a month. * Consistent Tadarus time: This could be after obligatory prayers, after Tarawih, or before Sahur. * Tadarus together: Reciting with friends or family can increase motivation. * Understand the meaning of verses: Read translations and interpretations to better understand the message of the Quran. 4. Successful Zakat Fitrah: * Pay on time: Don't delay until the last day so it can reach those entitled before Eid al-Fitr. * Choose the right recipients: Give Zakat to the poor, needy, or those entitled according to Islamic law. * Intention for God: Give Zakat to purify the soul, not just as an annual obligation. 5. Successful Lailatul Qadar: * Create a worship schedule: Arrange time for prayer, recitation, remembrance, and charity. * Increase charity: Not only Zakat, but also sharing food or helping others. * Seek forgiveness and pray: Ask for forgiveness and pray abundantly, especially in the last ten days. * Search for Lailatul Qadar: Increase worship on odd nights in the last ten days of Ramadan.
