Strengthening Data Accuracy, OJK Tegal Holds SNLIK 2026 Consolidation with BPS

TEGAL – The Tegal Financial Services Authority (OJK) office held a crucial event titled "Consolidation of the Implementation of the National Financial Literacy and Inclusion Survey (SNLIK) 2026" on Tuesday (January 27). Held at the OJK Tegal Office, Jalan Jendral Sudirman No. 2, this activity is a strategic step to ensure the quality of financial data in the western part of the former Pekalongan Residency area.
This activity was attended in person by the heads of the BPS offices from three regions: the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for Tegal City, Tegal Regency, and Brebes Regency. Not only the leadership, but also the front-line data collection personnel, consisting of Field Data Collectors (PPL) and Field Checkers (PML), were present to align technical perceptions.
Synergy for Precise Data The event was moderated by Ibu Kristina Nimas and began with an opening and welcome speech by the Head of OJK Tegal, Ibu Kurnia Tri Puspita. He stated that this meeting was a step toward synergy between the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). He also emphasized the importance of SNLIK data collection to map the financial literacy and inclusion levels of the Indonesian public.
After the opening by the Head of OJK Tegal, there were directions and remarks from each head of the Tegal City BPS, Mr. Eman Sulaeman, the head of the Brebes District BPS, Mr. Windy Prabowo Setyawan, and the head of the Tegal District BPS, Mr. Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji. The event then continued with a material explanation and review by Mr. Kukuh Harisman.
Thru this synergy between the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), it is hoped that the 2026 National Financial Literacy and Inclusion Index (SNLIK) will be able to produce a comprehensive picture of financial literacy and inclusion. This data will later serve as the basis for national policies aimed at improving the financial well-being of the community and accelerating access to formal financial services in the regions. (DNA)
