Slawi, Wednesday, April 8, 2026 — The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency attended the Village Website Socialization event held at the Bumijawa Sub-district Hall. This activity was conducted at the invitation of the Bumijawa Sub-District Head, Muhammad Sihabuddin, featuring the Head of the Tegal Regency BPS, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, as the resource person for the Statistical Village, and the Head of Pagerwangi Village, Balapulang Sub-District, Waluyo, as the resource person for the village website.
In the event, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji presented a briefing on the Statistical Village (Desa Cantik) aimed at enhancing the village's capacity in managing and utilizing statistical data. This program is expected to encourage villages to become more independent in developing data-based planning that is accurate and of high quality.
This socialization and training activity was attended by the Department of Communication and Information, village heads from the Bumijawa District, village operators, and assistants of the Family Hope Program (PKH). Participants appeared enthusiastic in following the material presented and actively engaged in discussions regarding village data management and the implementation of statistics in public services.
Thru this activity, it is hoped that the synergy between the Tegal Regency BPS, the Bumijawa sub-district government, and the village governments in the Bumijawa sub-district will become closer in realizing good data governance. The Beautiful Village Program is expected to be the beginning of a strategic step in enhancing statistical literacy and supporting more targeted and sustainable village development in the Bumijawa District.
