The Impact of Covid-19 in the New Normal Era in Tegal Regency 2020

The outbreak of COVID-19 cases and restrictions on community activities during the pandemic have caused the world economy and Indonesia to experience a deep slowdown. In Central Java, this impact has caused the economy to only be able to grow at 2.6 percent (yoy)
1st quarter 2020. In fact, during the past decade, the economy of Central Java has grown by an average of around 5 percent. This also happened in Tegal Regency, there was a significant decrease in economic growth.
Realizing this economic impact, the Government through the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs then compiled a new normal stage scenario for the recovery of the economy. This policy is carried out in stages and is marked by the opening of business and industrial activities starting June 1, 2020.
