After the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in the territory of Indonesia in early 2020, various kinds of activities had to undergo many adjustments. For example, activities that should be carried out face-to-face have been changed to online, including in the work environment of the Central Statistics Agency and the STIS Statistics Polytechnic. OJT or On Job Training activities, which are usually carried out at the Central BPS, started last year at the Regency/City BPS closest to where the graduates live.
Based on a directive from the Head of the Human Resources Bureau, dated September 17, 2021 number B-556/2300.KP.100/09/2021 regarding the implementation of the work orientation for graduates of the Statistical Polytechnic STIS 2021, all graduates of the Statistical Polytechnic STIS 2021 are required to follow the work orientation carried out at Central BPS, Provincial BPS, and Regency/City BPS for 3 (three) months starting from October 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
Following up on the letter, 4 (four) alumni of the STIS Statistics Polytechnic from Tegal Regency, carried out OJT activities at BPS Tegal Regency. The STIS Statistics Polytechnic graduate who is an intern at the Tegal Regency BPS is required to perform OJT by WFO (Work From Office), follow work attendance according to the provisions for employees and follow health protocols.
Thus, this OJT activity is expected to be able to provide graduates with work experience before being placed in their respective placements at Regency/City BPS throughout Indonesia. (Isna/Statistical Polytechnic STIS)
