SOCIAL MEDIA TO POPULATE THE INSTITUTION

Entering the industrial era 4.0, forcing us to go hand in hand with digital technology. In the past, advertising was done through print media. Now, social media is the best choice for branding both individuals and agencies.

BPS Kabupaten Tegal adapts to developments, also uses social media to introduce themselves to various kinds of people. The media used are Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and the latest is TikTok.

Social media content is also made diverse, ranging from news about certain data also inserted viral content to attract readers from Generation Z (Born 1997 – 2012, current estimate 8 – 23 years)

From the results of the Tegal Regency BPS Instagram analysis, there is two viral content that gets the highest achievement. One of them is Korean actor viral content and game reels Squid.

Describing activities into the content of interest is easy. The Tegal Regency BPS Social Media Team works together to continue to make light statistical education so that content can be more easily accepted by the wider community. At the same time also introduce BPS to various levels of society.

In the future, it is hoped that the name of BPS will be better known, so that when in the field it is not difficult for Field Survey Officers to explain who and what BPS is. (Mila/production).
