Monday, October 2, 2023 became a special moment for the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency, as well as most Indonesians who celebrated National Batik Day. In the spirit of commemorating the historic day for Indonesian batik, all BPS Tegal Regency employees decided to wear national batik as a form of respect for this precious cultural heritage.
The Monday Ngangenin activity, which is usually held at the beginning of every week at BPS Tegal Regency, this time had a more special feel. The material presented today became the main highlight, with the Acting Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Mr. Andi Kurniawan, SST, M.Si, becoming the main speaker.
In this session, Mr. Andi Kurniawan delivered material related to the evaluation of the implementation of AKIP (Government Agency Performance Accountability) in 2023. This evaluation is a critical step in ensuring that BPS Tegal Regency continues to be committed to providing quality services to the community.
Mr. Andi Kurniawan explained various aspects that became the focus of this year's AKIP evaluation, including the effectiveness of budget management, the quality of statistical data produced, transparency, and accountability in carrying out tasks. This evaluation aims to ensure that BPS Tegal Regency can continue to improve its performance in providing accurate and useful information for decision making at the regency level.
By wearing national batik on the same day as National Batik Day, BPS Tegal Regency not only showed its pride in Indonesian culture, but also the spirit to continue to improve and provide the best for the community. This Ngangenin Monday is clear evidence that culture, tradition, and public services can come together in a harmonious unity that benefits all parties. (Wind)
