Supervision of Intermediate Expert Statistician of BPS Central Java Province

Slawi, November 03, 2023 - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency received a visit from an Intermediate Expert Statistician of BPS Central Java Province, Ir. Sri Diastuti, M.M. This visit aimed to provide supervision and guidance to BPS Tegal Regency employees in carrying out production statistics activities.

All employees of BPS Tegal Regency gathered in the technical room, including the Head of BPS Tegal Regency Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, SST, M.Si. In her briefing, Ms. Sri Diastuti conveyed several important things that must be considered by Tegal Regency BPS employees in carrying out production statistics activities.

The homework of the production statistics team which is a priority at this time is the Cropping Survey and Large and Medium Industries (IBS) in order to increase the response rate and data quality. Supervision and inspection of data collection must be optimized. Data collection by Statistical Partners must be escorted by organic employees as supervisors, ensuring that there is no moral hazard in violating the SOP.

Sri Diastuti hoped that with this supervision, Tegal Regency BPS employees could improve performance and professionalism in carrying out production statistics activities. She also appreciated the good performance and cooperation between BPS Tegal Regency and BPS Central Java Province. (Wind)
