Beautiful Village Development in Pagerwangi Balapulang Village

"Pagerwangi - Thursday, July 25, 2024: At the office of the Village Head of Pagerwangi in Balapulang Subdistrict, Tegal Regency, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the local government of Pagerwangi participated in a Desa Cinta Statistik (Beautiful Village Statistics) awareness event. The meeting was attended by Village Head Waluyo, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji (Head of BPS Tegal Regency), Diana Dwi Susanti (Expert Statistician at BPS Tegal Regency), statistical agents from Desa Pagerwangi, and the Desa Cinta Statistik team from BPS Tegal, along with interns from Polstat STIS.

The Desa Cantik event aimed to discuss the statistical indicators that would be collected through this program. Specifically, the focus was on the questionnaire to be implemented in Pagerwangi Village to gather statistical data. The questionnaire is an adaptation from various BPS activities such as Sakernas and Susenas, as well as other successful Desa Cantik initiatives in different districts. The discussion proceeded smoothly and enthusiastically. Statistical agents paid close attention to the presentation of questions within the questionnaire. During the discussion session, they explored which additional indicators should be included or excluded based on the desired data outcomes for Pagerwangi Village.

The planned data collection method will utilize Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI). This means that statistical agents will collect data using their smart devices or web entry on their laptops. The design of this data collection method will be facilitated by Polstat STIS interns, aiming to streamline the process toward achieving the Desa Cinta Statistik status in Pagerwangi Village."
