Dukuhwaru, July 28, 2024 - Rice Sampling for sub round 2 in Kabunan Village, Dukuhwaru, Tegal Regency is currently ongoing. Hendra, an officer from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), reported that the harvesting area in this village is expected to be completed by this evening or at the latest within the next two days using the "combat" method.
Hendra, the sampling supervisor, along with enumerators Jam'ani and Oktafian, conducted rice sampling in the harvesting area on Sunday morning (28/7). The sampling results indicated slightly unsatisfactory harvest yields.
The less satisfactory harvest results are likely due to several factors, such as unfavorable weather conditions, pest infestations, or improper fertilizer usage.
"Despite the holiday, we will continue to monitor the progress of the harvest in Tegal Regency in general. Hopefully, the harvest results in the future will improve," added Hendra.
BPS will analyze these sampling results to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the rice harvest conditions. This data will be used to support agricultural policies and enhance rice productivity in the future(Hendra).
