BPS Officials in Tegal Regency Prepared for 2024 IMK Data Collection

Slawi – A total of 40 officials from the Tegal Regency Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) participated in the annual briefing related to IMK (Industrial Manufacturing Classification) data collection on Friday, August 2. The event, held in the BPS auditorium, provided essential preparation for the field data collection that will take place directly from August 1 to 26, 2024.

Amin Sukardi, S.ST., M.Si., serving as the instructor and head of the industrial team, delivered detailed material on the concepts and definitions of manufacturing industries. He also shared tips and tricks for extracting accurate and relevant information from respondents.

Meanwhile, Andi Kurniawan, S.ST., M.Si., the General Affairs Coordinator at BPS Tegal Regency, provided motivational remarks to all participants. He expressed hope that the officials would carry out their duties effectively and produce high-quality data. The Annual IMK Briefing at BPS Tegal Regency was deemed successful.

During the briefing, participants received training on IMK concepts, enumeration techniques, and other important considerations for data collection. Additionally, a Q&A session allowed participants to address any questions or challenges they might encounter during the fieldwork.
