The 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) Helps the Business World

The 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) is one of the censuses conducted by BPS every ten years, specifically in years ending in 6. Through SE2026, BPS will capture a comprehensive picture of the economic conditions in Indonesia. The data from SE2026 is not only targeted for government use, but can also be used by the business world to understand economic developments.

 

SE2026 helps the business world in at least four ways:

First, more accurate market information. Business actors can understand the competitive landscape and market potential based on data, which helps entrepreneurs make better business decisions.

Second, better business planning. Entrepreneurs can plan expansions, identify new business opportunities, and adjust business strategies to meet economic challenges.

Third, identifying investment opportunities. Census data provides an overview of sectors that are developing and have high investment potential.
