Slawi - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency held an evaluation and joint review meeting (mabar) for the March National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) Q1 2025 activities on February 17-18, 2025. The event, which took place at the BPS Tegal Regency meeting room, was opened by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji. The meeting was attended by Tegal enumerators and supervisors involved in the implementation of Susenas and Seruti. The aim was to evaluate the implementation of the activities, identify challenges faced, and find solutions for improvement in the future. "This joint review activity is very important to ensure the quality of the data we collect," said Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji in his speech. "We want the data produced to be accurate and relevant so that it can be used as a basis for making the right policy decisions." Over the two-day meeting, participants discussed and exchanged experiences. They discussed various aspects of survey implementation, from data collection to data processing. In addition to evaluation, the meeting was also filled with joint review activities. A verification team from BPS was present to verify the data collected by field officers. The aim was to ensure that the data produced is valid and accountable. "We hope that with this activity, the quality of Susenas and Seruti data in Tegal Regency will continue to improve," said Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji. "Quality data will be very beneficial for the local government in planning development and evaluating the success of programs that have been implemented." (adn)
