BPS Tegal Regency Holds Appreciation and Performance Evaluation Meeting for 2024

January 3, 2025 | Other Activities

**Slawi, January 3, 2025** – The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency held an appreciation and performance evaluation meeting for 2024 on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The meeting, led by Head of BPS Tegal Regency Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, was attended by all BPS Tegal Regency employees. Presenters included Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, Senior Statistician Diana Dwi Susanti, Sodikin, and Puji Astuti. Leadership from both central and provincial levels expressed high appreciation for the employees' work throughout 2024. However, the need for introspection was emphasized, particularly for employees in Central Java, to achieve even greater success in the coming years. The meeting noted that both BPS Central and the central government are working on improvements to support a world-class BPS, including updates to the Statistics Law. The meeting also reviewed the agency's performance. The BPS Tegal Regency received an improved SAKIP (Performance Accountability System for Government Agencies) score, rising from 63 to 72. However, this score remains below the Central Java provincial average, making it a priority for improvement in 2025. Planning for 2025 activities was also discussed. The role matrix results could not yet be created due to the absence of a Performance Agreement from the central level. The work teams planned at the end of 2024 may also change to align with indicators at the regency/city level. The meeting reported positive results from the PEK PP (Employee Performance Assessment) evaluation, as well as several Central Java achievements at the national level. The meeting also covered the profiling of the Statistical Business Register (SBR), a key activity for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). SBR allocation will likely be locked in for SE2026 allocation, as employees are considered to have better knowledge of their respective areas. The SBR profiling results will be used as a pre-list for SE2026. Data sources for the SBR include sectoral data and data from various sources that are matched. Finally, the meeting discussed the upcoming implementation of a flexible workspace, eliminating assigned desks and requiring personal belongings to be stored in cabinets or lockers. The procurement of lockers is a priority for 2025 to support this initiative.
