Internalization of IKU Metadata 2025-2029: Through Online Meeting

On March 18, 2025, all employees of the Tegal Regency Statistics Office (BPS) participated in the "Internalization of Key Performance Indicator (IKU) Metadata 2025-2029" event organized by BPS RI. This event aimed to finalize the BPS Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2025-2029 and adjust the 2025 Performance Agreement (PK). The event was opened with a keynote speech by Moh. Edy Mahmud, Deputy for Statistics Balance and Analysis and Acting Secretary General of BPS RI, who emphasized the importance of a deep understanding of IKU metadata in the future strategic planning of BPS. In addition, a session on "Developing the Initial Draft of the 2025-2029 Work Unit Strategic Plan" was delivered by other competent speakers in their respective fields. All BPS Tegal Regency employees participated in the internalization session, which discussed in detail how to calculate IKU indicators, including setting target percentages for the publication and implementation of quality population and labor statistics, as well as filling in the realization data. The session also discussed the success index for providing indicators for Indonesia's Golden Age 2045 and 45 key development indicators. A comprehensive understanding of these indicators is crucial to support the achievement of the Indonesia Golden Age 2045 vision, which has been formulated in the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045. The active participation of BPS Tegal Regency in this event demonstrates its commitment to aligning work unit strategic planning with national BPS policies. It is hoped that through the internalization of IKU metadata and a deep understanding of development indicators, the BPS will be able to effectively contribute to the realization of Indonesia's Golden Age 2045. Although the invited participants included the SAKIP Team, the Administration Team, and the Technical Team, all employees in Tegal Regency participated well in this event. The presence of all relevant parties is highly anticipated to ensure alignment of understanding and the successful implementation of the BPS's future strategic plan. (widi)
