The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tegal Regency conducted the Economic Census 2026 Socialization event on Friday, February 13, 2026. This activity was carried out by attending a coordination meeting held at the Trade, MSME, and Cooperatives Office of Tegal Regency as part of efforts to strengthen inter-agency synergy in the preparation for the 2026 Economic Census.
The meeting was attended by BAPERIDA, BPKAD, Bulog, cooperatives, and several related Regional Device Organizations (OPD). The presence of various stakeholders reflects a shared commitment to supporting the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census so that it can run smoothly, comprehensively, and produce high-quality data.
BPS Kabupaten Tegal was present at the event, led by the Chairperson of the Economic Census Implementation Team, Diana Dwi Susanti, and the Vise Chairperson of the Economic Census Field Management Team, Martin Muktiasih. The presence of this core team aims to provide direct explanations and strengthen the understanding of the meeting participants regarding the importance of the Economic Census.
In the midst of the meeting, the Chairperson of the Economic Census Team, Diana Dwi Susanti, presented the socialization material related to the 2026 Economic Census. In her presentation, she provided an overview of the objectives, scope, and benefits of the Economic Census as the basis for formulating economic development policies based on accurate and up-to-date data.
It was further explained that the 2026 Economic Census will cover all non-agricultural business activities, ranging from large-scale enterprises to micro and small businesses. Therefore, support and coordination from all related agencies are greatly needed so that the data collection process can reach all business actors in the Tegal Regency area.
Thru this socialization activity, it is expected that all meeting participants will have a shared understanding of their respective roles and contributions in supporting the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census. The synergy built between the Tegal Regency BPS and related agencies is expected to realize a successful Economic Census and produce high-quality economic statistical data for regional development.
