Coordination of GC (Ground Check) PBI Updates

The Central Bureau of Statistics of Tegal Regency conducted the Coordination of Ground Check (GC) Update for Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI) on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This activity aims to improve the accuracy and validity of PBI data so that the distribution of social assistance can be targeted correctly.

The coordination activity was directly led by the Head of the Tegal Regency BPS, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, who conducted socialization and discussions with the Tegal Regency Social Service staff. This meeting became a strategic forum to align understanding regarding the mechanism for updating PBI data thru ground checks.

In the event, representatives from the Tegal Regency Social Service, namely Tri Guntoro and Wibowo, were present. The presence of these stakeholders strengthens inter-agency synergy in supporting high-quality data-based social protection policies.

The main discussion in this coordination emphasizes the importance of updating PBI data to align with the real conditions on the ground. Thru the ground check process, it is hoped that the data of aid recipients truly reflects the eligible community, thereby minimizing inclusion and exclusion errors.

The Head of the Tegal Regency BPS emphasized in his presentation that the role of BPS is very important in providing accurate and reliable statistical data. He also stated that collaboration with the Social Service is the key to success in ensuring that PBI data is always up-to-date and relevant.

In addition, this coordination also discussed the technical implementation of ground checks, from field verification methods to data update mechanisms. All participants agreed that this process must be carried out meticulously, transparently, and sustainably to support the effectiveness of the social assistance program.

Thru the GC PBI Update Coordination activity, it is hoped that a stronger collaboration will be established between the Tegal Regency BPS and the Tegal Regency Social Service.
