Launch of the Statistical Love Village (Desa Cantik) 2026

The Central Bureau of Statistics of Tegal Regency officially launched the Love Statistics Village program for 2026 at the Tegal Regency Social Service Hall on Monday (30/3). The event, aimed at raising awareness among village communities about the importance of statistical data, was attended by regional officials and representatives from selected villages.
In his speech, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, the Head of the Tegal Regency BPS, emphasized that this program will strengthen data literacy at the village level to support sustainable development. "Desa Cinta Statistik is a joint commitment to utilize accurate data for better planning," he said.

The inauguration was attended by the Regent of Tegal Regency, represented by the Head of the Regional Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency of Tegal Regency. Representatives from the villages of Cenggini, Balapulang Kulon, and Sesepan, which have been designated as model villages this year, were also present.

The event concluded with the signing of the charter for the launch of the Statistical Love Village with village representatives. This program is expected to expand to other villages/sub-districts in Tegal Regency. (Teeca)
