Service Meeting on Desil Socialization at BPS Tegal Regency

Slawi, Thursday, April 2, 2025 — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tegal Regency held an official meeting to socialize deciles, attended by all employees in the BPS hall of Tegal Regency. This activity was carried out as an effort to increase employees' understanding of the management and utilization of socio-economic data in supporting government programs. The meeting was opened directly by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, who in his speech emphasized the importance of understanding the concept of deciles in processing community welfare data. He conveyed that data accuracy is the main factor in supporting targeted social policies. In the meeting, the discussion focused on DTSEN PBI (Integrated National Socio-Economic Data for Contribution Assistance Recipients) which is the basis for determining health insurance assistance recipients. Participants were given an explanation regarding the decile classification mechanism and the role of BPS in ensuring the quality of data used by the government. In addition, the meeting also became a discussion forum for employees to understand the challenges faced in the process of collecting and validating community socio-economic information. Through this socialization, it is hoped that all employees will have the same perception in carrying out tasks related to the management of DTSEN PBI data. This decile socialization official meeting activity is expected to improve internal coordination and strengthen the capacity of BPS Tegal Regency employees in supporting the provision of accurate, relevant and reliable statistical data to support the government's social protection program.
