On Friday, 10 December 2021, BPS Tegal Regency had a guest from the Directorate of Expenditure Balance of the BPS Republic of Indonesia, represented by Kamelina Solihat, SST. In this opportunity, Kamelina talked with several staff and the Coordinator of the Regional Accounts and Statistical Analysis Function, Tri Wahyuni.
BPS as a vertical agency, as stated in the Head of BPS Regulation No. 7 of 2008, has functions and agencies vertically implemented by BPS Province and BPS Regency/City. In its implementation, every activity carried out must be in accordance with the concepts that have been set by BPS RI. Therefore, there is a need for guidance, direction, and supervision by a higher-ranking work unit (satker) against the satker below it, so that every activity carried out can be in accordance with the provisions.
One of the implementations is a visit by the Directorate of Expenditure Accounts to the Regional Accounts and Analysis Function at BPS Tegal Regency. The visit was aimed at ascertaining whether the implementation of the expenditure balance survey at the Tegal Regency BPS went well. In addition, it also provides an opportunity for the BPS of Tegal Regency to overcome the obstacles faced in the process of implementing expenditure supervision, so that there can be discussions about solutions that can be done to resolve these problems. The results of the discussion are not only useful for BPS Regency of Tegal, but also become input for BPS RI in the implementation of expenditure monitoring, so that it can be applied in all Regency/City BPS.
