THE UPDATING OF THE WILKERSTAT ST2023 GEOSPATIAL FRAMEWORK AND LOAD COMES STARTING ON 1 March 2022

In March 2022, BPS of Tegal Regency carried out an activity to update the geospatial framework and ST2023 wilkerstat content throughout SLS. This activity aims to obtain the latest ST2023 agricultural wilkerstat content as the basis for the Agricultural Census to be carried out in 2023.

This activity is carried out for one month, from 1-31 March 2022. Geotagging is carried out to accommodate changes in SLS/NON SLS boundaries and also agricultural infrastructure. Agricultural infrastructure that is geotagged is rice barns, mills, and also KUD.

In this activity, land cover geotagging is also carried out to estimate the area of agricultural land in the relevant census block. Separate land cover geotagging with SLS/NON SLS geotagging in different projects. Each CB contains 1-5 land cover polygons that must be geotagging.

BPS recruited approximately 400 officers consisting of mappers and supervisors to carry out this updating field activity. All officers have been trained for two days face to face. The training was guided by a Regional Instructor from the Tegal Regency BPS.

Trained officers are expected to be able to produce data that is accurate and in accordance with field conditions and there are no more errors in drawing the SLS boundary on the map. (Mila)
