On Tuesday – Thursday, 13/9/22-15-/9/22 BPS Central Java Province held a Coordination Meeting for Central Java Province for Preliminary Data Collection for Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek) with all Regency BPS in Central Java and OPD in Central Java Province .
This event was held at the Mercure Hotel Sukoharjo attended by the Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information of BPS RI, Imam Machdi and representatives from BPS Tegal Regency, namely the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Jamaludin and the Tegal Regency Regsosek Team.
The event was opened by the Head of BPS Central Java Province, Adhi Wiriana, with the theme Recording to build the country, One Data on Social Protection and Community Empowerment Programs. BPS Coordinates Initial Data Collection, Standardizes Methodology, Management of Data Collection and Regsosek Updates, and Statistical Development.
The Deputy for MIS said that the Initial Socio-Economic Registration Data Collection (Regsosek) is a system and database of the entire population consisting of profiles, social conditions, economy, and welfare levels that are connected to population master data and other databases up to the village/kelurahan level. The Regsosek database is used to end duplication of social protection and to realize the integration of social protection and empowerment programs.
Regsosek is in the interest of the state. Awareness of the government that has been built needs to be utilized to facilitate strengthening coordination with related agencies and OPD both in implementation and utilization. Regsosek is a super priority activity that is prepared in the short term, so it needs a special strategy. Arrange risk mitigation in each stage of the 2022 Regsosek Initial Data Collection activity. Field Data Officers do not work alone. Involve all BPS personnel and other elements in the implementation of the 2022 Regsosek Preliminary Data Collection according to their capabilities. (Uonk)
