Today, Monday, May 20, 2024, an event commemorating
National Awakening Day 2024 was held in the courtyard of the
Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of
Tegal Regency. The event was attended by all employees of the BPS Tegal Regency and led by the Ceremony Supervisor, Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Poco Aji. In his address, the Ceremony Supervisor conveyed a message from the Minister of Communication and Information of the
Republic of Indonesia,
Budi Arie Setiadi, emphasizing that the
Second Awakening is a crucial moment for the
Indonesian nation. He stressed the importance of looking towards the future with optimism, self-confidence, and conviction, and seizing the momentum of progress towards the nation's dreams.
The ceremony combined the May 2024 roll call with the commemoration of the 116th National Awakening Day in 2024. The theme of the 116th
National Awakening Day in 2024 is "Rise for Golden Indonesia". Participants of the ceremony wore attire according to protocol, with
Korpri attire for the top and dark-colored bottoms. Men also wore traditional caps, and for those wearing headscarves, the color used was dark blue.
The purpose of this commemoration is to continue to preserve, nurture, and strengthen the spirit of nationalism and the national spirit of Indonesia. It is hoped that all the potential natural resources, demographic bonuses, and digital transformation potentials of Indonesia will serve as the foundation towards the vision of "
