Tegal, November 8, 2024 - The Tegal Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) held a preparation meeting for the Seruti Quarter 4 of 2024, which took place at the Wayanx Sate Slawi Restaurant. The meeting, opened by the Head of General Affairs of the Tegal Regency BPS, Andi Kurniawan, was attended by various parties who play an important role in the implementation of statistical censuses.
In his speech, Andi Kurniawan emphasized the importance of cooperation between BPS and statistical partners in maintaining the accuracy of data that will be used for policy making. "This activity is the first step to ensure that all preparations for the census run smoothly. The Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is a survey conducted by BPS to provide basic data in calculating household consumption expenditure (PK-RT) as a component of GDP. The data produced by Seruti is very much needed to obtain information on the fluctuations and patterns of quarterly PK-RT."
The meeting was also attended by senior statistician, Diana Dwi Susanti, who provided guidance on the census methodology and the importance of the role of each individual in the team. Diana emphasized, "We hope that all census officers can understand their duties and responsibilities well so that the data obtained can be reliable."
Meeting participants consisted of Seruti census officers from statistical partners, processing partners, Seruti supervisors, processing supervisors, and national instructors. The diversity of participants is expected to enrich discussions and solutions related to various challenges that may arise during the census and processing.
Participants also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas on effective census strategies and challenges faced in the field. Through this meeting, the Tegal Regency BPS hopes to maximize the results of the census for the benefit of regional development. With a spirit of togetherness and high commitment, it is hoped that the implementation of the Seruti Quarter 4 census can run successfully and make a positive contribution to statistical data in Tegal Regency.
