Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the Healthy District/City (KKS) Implementation Document

The Healthy District/City (KKS) is a condition of a district/city that is clean, comfortable, safe, and healthy for residents to live in, achieved through the implementation of 9 arrangements with integrated activities that are agreed upon by the community and local government. This KKS approach is considered quite effective in unifying the steps between the local government and the community in planning and carrying out health-oriented development. Therefore, as an appreciation for local governments that have successfully organized the Healthy District/City, the Healthy District/City Award or also known as the Swasti Saba Award is given by the Minister of Health and the Minister of Home Affairs, which is held every two years (odd years).

 

Since it was held in 2005 until 2023, no less than 257 districts/cities have received the Swasti Saba Award, which is divided into several categories. The Swasti Saba Award can be used as a parameter for the success of the KKS implementation.

 

Tegal Regency is one of the districts/cities that is proposed to receive the Swasti Saba Award in 2025. The Swasti Saba Award in 2025 is prioritized for local governments of districts/cities that have reported the implementation of the KKS for 2 years (2023 and 2024) and have met the award recipient requirements.

 

On November 13, 2024, at the Tegal Regency Health Office Meeting Room, the Tegal Regency BPS, was invited to the Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the Healthy District/City (KKS) Implementation Document in 2025. This meeting was attended by PICs from 18 OPDs in Tegal Regency. The main agenda of the meeting was the fulfillment of the KKS implementation documents in 2025 and building a joint commitment between OPDs and Sub-district Heads in the implementation of the Healthy District/City in Tegal Regency. In addition, the meeting participants also discussed the division of tasks in document preparation, where each OPD will be responsible for preparing the relevant sections according to their duties and functions.
