Coordination of Preparation for Socialization of Statistical Activities

Slawi, November 24, 2024.  BPS Tegal Regency carried out preparations for "Statistics Goes to School" by visiting several schools. This year, the activity was planned together with SMU N 1 Slawi, SMU N 2 Slawi, and SMU N 3 Slawi.  Young Statistician of BPS Tegal Regency Ika Efrilia together with Hendra Sarwono and Emmy Laeliyah received an enthusiastic response from the school, and this activity is planned to be implemented in December 2023 in each of the schools involved.

Not only following the socialization activities, some schools even expressed their interest in establishing further cooperation with BPS Tegal Regency. One of the desired forms is through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement with BPS as an effort to improve school institutional accreditation. This cooperation is expected to have a positive impact in improving the quality of education.

The plan shows that statistical activities are not only a moment of socialization, but also open the door for schools to be more involved in efforts to improve the quality of education. This collaboration between BPS and schools in Tegal Regency has great potential to create a better and sustainable educational environment. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that a positive synergy will be created between the world of statistics and the world of education at the local level. (uong)
