Tegal, November 20, 2024 - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency submitted the Official Statistical Report (BRS) on Labor for August 2024 and the BRS Human Development Index (IPM) 2024 to the Regional Secretary of Tegal Regency, Amir Makhmud. The submission took place in the Regional Secretary's office on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, accompanied by Senior Statistician, Diana Dwi Susanti, submitted the statistical data. The data shows that the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Tegal Regency in August 2024 reached 7.53 percent, a decrease of 1.07 percentage points compared to August 2023.
Meanwhile, the Human Development Index (IPM) of Tegal Regency in 2024 reached 71.70. This figure shows an increase from the previous year, which was 71.12. The increase in IPM occurred in all components, namely health quality, education, and adjusted per capita expenditure.
Amir Makhmud welcomed the submission of this statistical data. He stated that the data is very important as a basis for evaluation and development planning in Tegal Regency. "Accurate and up-to-date statistical data is essential for formulating targeted and effective policies to improve the welfare of the community," said Amir Makhmud.
