On Thursday, December 5, 2024, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency held a Dissemination of Training Results for "Desa Cinta Statistik" (Desa Cantik) and Public Consultation Forum (FKP) in Desa Pagerwangi, Balapulang District. The event was broadcast live via YouTube streaming at s.bps.go.id/DesaCantik3328, reaching a wider audience and increasing transparency in the data collection process.
Various important figures attended the event, including the Acting Regent of Tegal, represented by the Expert Staff for Law, Politics, and Government, Nurhapid Junaedi, the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, the Acting Head of Balapulang District, Sihabudin, the Head of Desa Pagerwangi, Waluyo, as well as representatives from Bappeda, Diskominfo, Bapermades, Dinsos, the Cooperative and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Agency, the Food and Agricultural Resilience Agency, the Environment Agency, the Manpower Agency, Disporapar, the Head of Desa Sidapurna Dukuhturi (another "Desa Cantik"), community leaders of Desa Pagerwangi, RT/RW heads of Desa Pagerwangi, the Desa Pagerwangi Statistics Agent, and the "Desa Cantik" Training Team from BPS Tegal Regency.
The event began with a report on the "Desa Cantik" training that had been conducted in Desa Pagerwangi. The Head of BPS Tegal Regency presented the training process, starting from coordination, data collection support, verification, evaluation, and culminating in the FKP. The speeches from the Expert Staff of the Regent and the Acting Head of Balapulang District were filled with appreciation for the "Desa Cantik" program, which had been successfully implemented in Desa Pagerwangi, and it is hoped that it can serve as an example for other villages in Tegal Regency.
Next, the Head of Desa Pagerwangi presented the "Desa Cantik" data collection process in his village, starting from data collector recruitment, questionnaire discussions, data management, to evaluation and FKP of the data collection results. The event concluded with an FKP involving all RT, RW heads, and community leaders of Desa Pagerwangi. In this forum, the Desa Pagerwangi Statistics Agent presented the data collection results and opened a discussion to ensure accurate and useful data for village development.
The dissemination and FKP are crucial steps in realizing quality statistical data that benefits development at the village level. By involving various parties, it is hoped that the data generated can serve as a basis for more targeted planning and decision-making. (uonk)
