BPS Tegal Regency participated in  the 2025 Data Needs Survey Briefing virtually

January 15, 2025 | BPS Activities

The central Statistics Agency (BPS) held an online briefing for the 2025 Data Needs Survey (SKD) via Zoom link on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The event was opened by Evina Ironika from BPS RI and attended by representatives from BPS Tegal Regency, namely Imam Furqon Roziqin, Uziroh, and Puji Astuti. The use of this virtual platform allows for wider participation from various regions in Indonesia.

This briefing discusses the preparation and implementation of the 2025 SKD which aims to map BPS data needs. This survey will involve all BPS data users from January until the survey period ends, covering quarterly and annual data. As an effort to get a comprehensive picture, the Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) from the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) is integrated into the 2025 SKD.

The data collection methods that will be used are Personal Assistant Provided Interview (PAPI) and Computer Assisted Web Interview (CAWI). The combination of these two methods is expected to reach a wide range of respondents and produce accurate and representative data. The main focus of the survey was on the condition of BPS services, respondents' assessment of the service, respondents' data needs, suggestions and criticisms, and how respondents used BPS data.

The information collected through the 2025 SKD will be an important reference for BPS in planning and developing data services in the future. The survey results will be used to improve the quality and relevance of the data provided, so that it can be more effective in supporting decision-making in various sectors. By understanding the needs of users, BPS is committed to providing better and responsive services.

BPS hopes that the 2025 SKD will strengthen partnerships with data users and ensure that statistical data can be used optimally. The results of the comprehensive survey will be published after the data processing process is completed, providing a clear picture of the need for statistical data in BPS. (Uonk)
