September 3, 2025 | BPS Activities

Slawi, Tegal Regency - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is holding intensive training for officers processing the updating of geospatial frameworks and statistical work area content for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). This training takes place over two days, from Tuesday to Wednesday, September 2-3, 2025. The training is carried out in a hybrid manner, combining online and offline methods. The first day is conducted online via the Zoom Meeting platform, while the second day takes place offline at the Permata Inn Hotel, Slawi. This hybrid method aims to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the training, as well as provide flexibility for the participants. The opening of the offline training was conducted virtually by the Head of BPS for Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih. In her speech, she interacted directly with participants from various regencies in Central Java via Zoom Meeting. Endang randomly asked about their experiences as BPS partners, as well as their motivation for participating in this training. The Head of BPS for Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, also attended the offline training in person. He encouraged the participants, emphasizing the importance of accurate and thorough data processing in order to support the success of SE2026. "Quality data is the foundation for targeted development planning," he said. The training at BPS Tegal Regency was divided into two classes. The first class was instructed by Puji Astuti, while the second class was guided by Adi Prima Nugroho. Both instructors provided material on the stages of data processing, starting from receiving batching to map processing using special software. The training participants seemed enthusiastic about attending each session. They actively asked questions and discussed the various challenges that might be faced in the field. With this training, it is hoped that data processing officers can improve their competence and make a maximum contribution to updating the geospatial framework and statistical work area content for SE2026.(uonk)
