April 1, 2026 | Other Activities

Slawi, Tuesday, March 31, 2026 — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tegal Regency held a groundcheck training for Health Insurance Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI) conducted in Margasari District. This activity aims to improve the accuracy of the data on contribution assistance recipients so that the health insurance program targets the right beneficiaries according to the conditions of the community on the ground.

The training was officially opened by the Head of the Tegal Regency BPS. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of groundcheck activities as an effort to validate the socio-economic data of the community. Thru this activity, it is hoped that the data of aid recipients can be updated periodically so that government policies related to social protection become more effective and accountable.

Before the opening ceremony began, the Head of the Tegal Regency BPS also had a discussion with the Secretary of the Margasari District, Lutful Hakim, regarding the implementation of the PBI groundcheck in the Margasari District area. The discussion covered field coordination and the support of the sub-district government in ensuring the smooth conduct of the data collection activities.

This training features instructor Moh Bakhtiar Helmi from the Tegal Regency BPS, who provides technical material on the implementation of groundcheck. The participants in the activity consisted of Family Hope Program (PKH) assistants from three sub-districts, namely Margasari Sub-district, Balapulang Sub-district, and Pagerbarang Sub-district. In addition, the event was also attended by a representative from the Social Services Department, Adelikha Ainun Arofu, as a form of inter-agency synergy.

Thru this training, it is expected that participants will be able to understand the procedures for verifying and validating PBI data accurately in the field. The Tegal Regency BPS reaffirms its commitment to continuously support the provision of quality data to ensure that social assistance programs, particularly health insurance, can be received by the communities that truly need them.
