Slawi, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tegal Regency collaborated with the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Tegal Regency and the Industry Office of Tegal Regency in the Joint Completion (Ngisi Bareng / Ngibar) of the 2026 Economic Census. This activity was conducted online via Zoom Meeting as a joint effort to increase the participation of business actors in supporting the success of the 2026 Economic Census.
The event was attended by business actors from various areas across Tegal Regency. Through this virtual forum, participants received an explanation of the importance of the 2026 Economic Census as a strategic data source that will be used in planning both regional and national economic development. Participants also obtained information regarding the data collection mechanisms and the benefits of the resulting data for business development.
On that occasion, BPS Tegal Regency stated that the synergy with DPMPTSP and the Industry Office represents a concrete step in expanding outreach to the business community. This inter-agency collaboration is expected to increase awareness among business actors to provide accurate and complete data, thereby improving the overall quality of the 2026 Economic Census results.
The discussion session took place interactively, with participants raising various questions regarding business data collection processes, data utilization, and the role of business actors in supporting the availability of high-quality economic statistics. Through this Ngibar activity, business actors were encouraged to actively participate and provide information that reflects their actual business conditions.
With the implementation of the Joint Completion (Ngibar) of the 2026 Economic Census, it is expected that stronger cooperation will be established between BPS Tegal Regency, the local government, and business actors. The support of all parties is key to the success of the 2026 Economic Census in producing accurate, reliable, and useful data as a basis for formulating well-targeted economic development policies in Tegal Regency.
