Human Development Index of Tegal Regency 2022

Human development is key to the success of a region in improving the quality of its population, especially in health, education, and income. Human development as a whole is shaped by three dimensions: the degree of health represented by the figure of life expectancy; the dimension of knowledge representing the expectation of old school years and the average age of school years; and the dimension of decent life representing adjusted per capita expenditure. These three dimensions are used to compile a composite index, the Human Development Index (IPM). The publication Human Development Index of Tegal District 2022 presents an overview of the development of human development in Tegal District as an impact of the performance of regional government development during the period of 2018–2022. In addition, this publication presents human development data from other districts, cities, and Central Java provinces as a comparison between regions.
