Tegal Regency Human Development Index 2024

Human development is a key to the success of a region in improving the quality of its population, especially in health, education, and income. Human development as a whole is shaped by three dimensions: health status, represented by life expectancy; knowledge dimension, represented by expected years of schooling and average years of schooling; and a decent standard of living, represented by adjusted per capita expenditure. These three dimensions are used to construct a composite index, namely the Human Development Index (HDI). The 2024 Tegal Regency Human Development Index publication presents an overview of human development in Tegal Regency as a result of the performance of regional government development during the 2021-2024 period. In addition, this publication presents data on human development in other regencies/cities and Central Java Province, which is used as a comparison between regions.
