Tegal Regency Human Development Index 2023

Human development is a key to the success of a region in improving the quality of its population, especially health, education and income. Human development as a whole is shaped by three dimensions, namely the degree of health represented by life expectancy; the knowledge dimension represented by expected years of schooling and average years of schooling; and the decent living dimension represented by adjusted per capita expenditure. The three dimensions were used to construct a composite index, the Human Development Index (HDI).
The publication of the Tegal Regency Human Development Index 2023 presents a picture of the development of human development in Tegal Regency as a result of the local government's development performance during the period 2020 - 2023. In addition, this publication presents data on human development in other regencies/cities and Central Java Province which is used as a comparison between regions.
