The National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) is one of the most important sources of household socio-economic data in Indonesia. The data from susenas has been widely used by various groups, both at home and abroad. Therefore, the continuity of the availability and quality of susenas data must be maintained and improved by conducting officer training before going to the field.
BPS Tegal Regency held the Susenas March 2023 training at the Grand Dian Slawi Hotel. There was something different about the Susenas March 2023 training this time, namely the combination of the Susenas March officer training with the Seruti 2023 training (Quarterly Household Economic Survey). Seruti is a household-based survey that is an integration of three surveys, namely the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the Special Survey on Quarterly Household Consumption (SKKRT), and the Special Survey on Household Savings and Investment (SKTIR) which aims to reduce duplication of activities and increase efficiency, as well as produce higher quality household economic statistics.
The Susenas and March and Seruti 2023 training was held from February 6 to 15, 2023, which was divided into 4 batches, namely batch 1 on February 6-7, batch 2 on February 8-10, batch 3 on February 11-12 and batch 4 on February 13-15, 2023. All participants amounted to 90 people from organic BPS and BPS partners consisting of 33 PMLs and 57 PPLs. The National Instructors of the March Susenas and Seruti training this year are Ratna Sari Dewi and Annisa Purbaning Tyas.
This training is expected to produce officers who are responsible and able to carry out Susenas data collection properly. In addition, it also reduces the non-sampling error to a minimum. (arnis)
