Tegal, February 21, 2024 - Under a blue cloud, the spirit of building villages from data echoed in the Adipati Room of the Tegal Regent's Office. An important meeting between the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency and the Tegal Regency Government marked the beginning of a new chapter in the effort to advance the villages in this region.
Led by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, the BPS team met with Pj Regent Agustyarsyah, accompanied by Regional Secretary Amir Makhmud. The main agenda: coordination and request for support for the Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) which will be held soon.
PODES is an important activity organized by BPS. Like the pulse of life, PODES provides essential data on village potential, ranging from socio-economic conditions, infrastructure, to the existence of community institutions and groups. This data becomes a solid foundation for targeted and appropriate village development.
"PODES 2024 will be the key in realizing advanced and prosperous villages in Tegal Regency. PODES will produce a Geographic Difficulty Index, which is one of the allocators for village funds," said Bambang enthusiastically. "Cooperation with the Tegal Regency Government is vital to the success of this data collection."
Tegal Regency Government's support will be manifested in various forms, such as socialization to the community, facilitation of access to the field, and provision of data and information needed.
"We urge the Tegal Regency village administration to receive BPS officers in a friendly manner and provide honest and complete information," Agustyarsyah appealed. "The active participation of the village administration is the main key to the success of PODES 2024."
This meeting marked the beginning of a strong collaboration between BPS and Tegal Regency Government. The spirit of building villages from data echoed, leading Tegal Regency to a bright future. (adn)
