Statistics in an Effort to Improve Numeracy Literacy

Thursday, May 30, 2024 at SMA Negeri 2 Slawi, an In House Training (IHT) was held in an effort to develop literacy and numeracy competencies, and optimize school learning communities in the preparation of KOSP in the Merdeka curriculum which has been carried out in SMA Negeri 2 Slawi which is one of the driving schools in Tegal Regency.

This activity is one of the follow-ups of the Statistical Literacy Corner Goes to School activities carried out by BPS Tegal Regency in carrying out the role of special statistical guidance. The participants of this In House Training were teachers and administrative staff at SMA Negeri 2 Slawi.

Opened by Siti Ati, S.Pd, M.Pd as the Principal, she enthusiastically expressed her gratitude for the support and coaching facilities provided by BPS Tegal Regency and hoped that the results of this activity could become the basis of reference in the school's efforts to improve school numeracy literacy. On the same occasion, the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, S.ST, M.Si expressed his deepest appreciation to the school and welcomed this activity with the hope that BPS could optimally assist in statistical coaching in the assisted schools, the statistics could be used for various things, he further said.

This activity is a pioneering activity in an effort to improve numeracy literacy held in high schools in Tegal Regency and will continue to be refined so that special statistical guidance can be more optimally felt by the community. (IFrilia)
