BPS Tegal Regency Holds Weekly Work Plan Evaluation Meeting (Sirenja)

Tegal, November 1, 2024 - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency held a Weekly Work Plan Evaluation Meeting (Sirenja) on Friday afternoon, November 1, 2024, from 14.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB. The meeting was led directly by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Mr. Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, and was attended by all BPS Tegal Regency employees. The meeting discussed the evaluation of the work plan for the first week of November 2024. Several key points were discussed in the meeting: * **Follow-up on the Socialization of Circular Number 3 of 2024:** The meeting discussed the follow-up actions related to the socialization of Circular Number 3 of 2024. * **Work Plan Format:** To monitor the workload of each employee, a work plan format in the form of an Excel file has been created. All employees are required to submit the completed file every week. * **Contributions of Junior Statisticians:** The meeting emphasized the importance of the role of junior statisticians in introducing BPS and statistics to government agencies and the public. They are expected to be active in activities that extend beyond the BPS environment. * **Internal Analysis and Criticism:** Junior statisticians are also encouraged to write articles that critically analyze internal BPS operations. This can include analyzing weaknesses during fieldwork or data collection, as well as weaknesses in data processing and analysis. This is deemed beneficial for future improvements within BPS. This Sirenja meeting serves as a platform for evaluating progress, identifying challenges, and formulating strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of BPS Tegal Regency. (uonk)
