Developing the Desa Cinta Statistik (Cantik) Program in Kaliwungu Village, Balapulang

On Monday, May 19, 2025, the Desa Cantik team from BPS Tegal Regency visited Kaliwungu Village, Balapulang District, Tegal Regency. The working visit aimed to prepare for a village-level statistical data collection program. The team, consisting of Uziroh, Imam Furqon R, and Sakti Eko, focused on mentoring the village's statistical agents. This visit is a crucial part of the BPS initiative to improve the quality of statistical data at the village level. Sixteen village statistical agents have been recruited and will be responsible for collecting data from all 20 RT (neighborhood associations) in Kaliwungu Village. A primary focus of the visit was preparing the IT infrastructure to support the data collection program. The Desa Cantik team is preparing a web server to be used as a central data storage and processing center. This aims to ensure data integration and easy access for all stakeholders. In addition to infrastructure preparation, the team reiterated training for statistical agents on the software and applications to be used in the data collection process. With this intensive mentoring, it is hoped that the statistical agents of Kaliwungu Village can carry out their duties effectively and produce accurate and reliable statistical data. This data will then form the basis for effective and sustainable development planning in Kaliwungu Village. (uonk)
