Tegal, February 6, 2025 — The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency attended the 2024 Priority Data Evaluation Meeting and the Mapping of the Priority Data List for Tegal Regency in 2025, organized by the Tegal Regency Bappedalitbang. BPS Tegal Regency was represented by Senior Statistician, Diana Dwi Susanti, as the Head of the Sectoral Statistics Development Team, who was also accompanied by the BPS Tegal Regency Sectoral Statistics Team.
This event was held to realize integrated data governance in accordance with the One Indonesia Data (SDI) principle, referring to Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesia Data and Tegal Regent Regulation Number 62 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of One Tegal Regency Data. With the aim of improving the quality and integration of data in the region, Bappedalitbang invited Heads of Regional Apparatus to assign officials or staff who handle data to attend this important event.
The meeting was held on Thursday, February 6, 2024, starting at 09.00 WIB until completion, at the Bappedalitbang Tegal Regency Meeting Room. On this occasion, Diana Dwi Susanti delivered a presentation on the importance of statistical recommendations from every statistical activity carried out by Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). This material is expected to provide participants with an understanding of the important role of statistical data in planning and policymaking at the regional level.
This activity is a strategic step to enhance collaboration between OPDs in data management and ensure alignment with the One Indonesia Data policy. With the evaluation and discussion of priority data, it is hoped that Tegal Regency can be more effective in utilizing data to achieve better and sustainable development.
The event concluded with an active discussion among participants, discussing challenges and solutions in data management in the region, as well as steps that need to be taken to improve the quality of existing data.
