Slawi, January 14, 2025 — The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tegal Regency officially opened the training preparation for the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) March and the Quarterly Routine Survey (Seruti) Quarter I 2025. The event, which took place from January 14 to 24, 2025, was attended by 93 participants, consisting of 58 data collectors, 29 supervisors, 4 committee members, and 2 instructors. The training was officially opened by the Head of BPS Tegal Regency, Bambang Wahyu Ponco Aji, who emphasized the importance of data quality to support development policies. Blended Learning Method for Training Effectiveness This training adopts a blended learning method, combining self-learning, online, and offline learning. The first stage involves self-learning through digital modules, followed by online sessions for in-depth material. The final phase involves offline training held at the Grand Dian Slawi Hotel. Bambang explained that this approach was chosen to ensure that participants understand data collection techniques comprehensively. "Blended learning allows for flexible adaptation, especially in preparing competent human resources to face the dynamics of the field," he said. Two Training Waves to Optimize Participants The event is divided into two waves to ensure that participant capacity remains optimal. The first wave began on January 14, while the second wave will follow. All participants come from different roles, ranging from data collectors to supervisors, who will be responsible for collecting economic and social data from the community in Tegal Regency. Emphasize Data Accuracy for Quality Policies In his speech, Bambang emphasized that this training is an important foundation for producing accurate data as the basis for development planning. "Susenas and Seruti are not just about collecting numbers, but strategic instruments for capturing the real conditions of the community. Data accuracy is the key to successful policies," he stressed. Offline training at the Grand Dian Slawi Hotel focuses on interview simulations and case study discussions. Participants will also receive certificates as proof of competence after completing all stages. With the targeted implementation of Susenas March and Seruti Quarter I 2025, BPS Tegal Regency hopes that this training can improve the quality of data, which will have an impact on the formulation of targeted programs at the regional and national levels.
